The emergence of 6G networks aims to enable a new era of ambient intelligence through seamless integration of intelligent devices and personalized, context-aware services. This article explores the potential of terahertz integrated sensing and communications (THz-ISAC) to facilitate networked sensing for ambient intelligence applications in 6G systems. We present the advantages of THz-ISAC and potential architectures with enabling use cases. Heterogeneous sensing coordination methods are discussed to effectively integrate distributed sensing capabilities. A hybrid data fusion architecture is proposed to efficiently converge heterogeneous data for distributed model fitting, overcoming limitations of existing methods. The insights provided offer valuable guidance for future research and development of ambient intelligence powered by integrated terahertz sensing and communications.
