Introduction A key goal in ensuring employee well-being and fostering a healthy workplace is closing the clinical services gap through improved occupational health nurse practice. The protection of employees’ health and safety, the prevention of illnesses and accidents related to the job, and the promotion of general employee wellness are all essential tasks carried out by occupational health nurses. Methods A qualitative design using ground theory methodology will be utilized to collect data using interviews with clinical practice nurses. Results and Discussion This grounded theory methodology will be used to identify key concepts with regard to closing the gap in the clinical practice of a private Occupational Health service. Occupational Health Nurse practitioners working in the industry will be selected to partake in the study. Participants will be asked to have first-hand knowledge of the phenomenon being studied and have been in the industry for at least 5 years. Focus group discussions and/or interviews will be used to gather data, which will then be verbatim recorded, transcribed, and subjected to thematic analysis. Discussion and Conclusion This flexible thematic analysis method will enable researchers to gain deep insights from qualitative data. It is appropriate for a variety of study environments because it doesn’t rely on any one theory. To guarantee that the final themes appropriately reflect the content and context, data must be handled carefully and methodically. Contribution By implementing these strategies, organizations can empower occupational health nurses to provide comprehensive clinical services, close the gap in healthcare delivery, and ultimately contribute to a healthier and safer workplace for all employees
