Primary sclerosing cholangitis is an autoimmune illness affecting the intrahepatic and/or extrahepatic bile ducts that has a varying clinical history and no clear therapy. Recurrence of primary sclerosing cholangitis after transplantation can cause recurring liver failure, decreased survival, and the necessity for retransplant. Here, we explored the incidence of recurrence while also identifying the risk factors of primary sclerosing cholangitis.
