In this study, the technique of oxidation in air and treatment with HCl was chosen to remove iron in carbon nanotube materials synthesized by the CVD method to apply 2,4-D adsorption in aqueous solution at initial concentration 52.2 mg/L. The oxidation process was repeated twice at 440 ˚C for 4 hours and 40 minutes, respectively. XRD, TEM, BET, AAS, HPLC analysis methods have shown that the MWCNTs tube tips are open and not shortened, can handle 94.42 % Fe, removing Fe has increased the surface area. BET alone increased from 170 to 262 m2/g and pore volume increased from 0.897 to 1.402 cm3/g, increasing the adsorption capacity of the material from 64.39 to 80.16 %.
