Directions of Improvement of the State Policy of Employment Support in Modern Technological Conditions

Modern global technological changes determine the institutional transformation of the economy, in the normative sphere initiated by the state as the leading institutional innovator. The priority sphere of the state's interests is the economic policy of employment support, which in the modern conditions of digitalization of the economy, state and society in China adapts to the needs of the information age through the transition from traditional state regulation of employment to modern institutions of its state support. The article, based on the specifics of national conditions of China, substantiates the directions of institutional transformation of the economic policy of employment support in the modern conditions of accelerating digitalization of the economy, reveals its existing problems in the context of rapid development of China's digital economy and accelerated growth of the use of "Internet Plus". Measures to improve the mechanisms of state regulation of employment in China are proposed, including the development of a long-term strategy to support employment and prevent digital unemployment, diversification and digitalization of public employment services, optimization of interagency cooperation between state institutions.
