The Korea Physics Olympiad committee offers calculus-based on-line physics lecture course for high school students who are interested in becoming a national team member, and also algebra-based course for general middle and high school students who are interested in learning college level physics. Based on the average exam score from two-semesters of on-line lecture, about 80 students are invited to the camp for 8 days in January. At the end of the camp, students take a theory exam from which 10 candidates are selected, and then final five students to participate in the international olympiad are selected with theory and experiment exams of the same format as the international olympiad. The national team members practice solving theory and experiment problems from previous international olympiads on Saturdays and 3 full weeks before the international olympiad.
