This study explores the influence of environmental factors on Error Potential (ErrP) responses through experiments in Monitor and Virtual Theatre settings. EEG data analysis revealed distinct ErrP features in each environment, leading to the application of machine learning for classification. The results demonstrated significant differences in ErrP responses between the two environments, with the Monitor environment displaying more pronounced ErrP characteristics. These findings emphasize the importance of environmental considerations in cognitive research and suggest implications for designing AR/VR-based interventions targeting cognitive processes. Future research should further investigate ErrP responses in diverse environments to enhance our understanding of cognitive processing and optimize intervention strategies.
