The Cover Feature shows that molybdenum sulfide (MoS2) nanoflowers have enabled high-energy, high-power, and scalable lithium-ion capacitor pouch cells for electric vehicle applications. The excellent performance was attributed to the fast surface redox reactions on the MoS2 electrode with tailored two-dimensional nanostructure and nanoflower morphology that overcome the sluggish kinetics in conventional lithium-ion capacitors.
