The purpose of this paper is to explore the geographical information and spatial layout of Guiling Village, a Dong nationality village that has been declared World Cultural Heritage. Guiling Village is an administrative village located in Bajiang Town, Dong Autonomous County of Sanjiang, Guangxi. It consists of 7 natural villages: Guiling Tun, Jiangtou Tun, Liugeng Tun, Nianmatun, Guidong Tun, Guibun and Sanhe Tun. In the process of applying for World Cultural Heritage, it is necessary to collect geographical information such as geographical environment and resources of traditional villages, external spatial layout and internal spatial structure of villages. In order to improve work efficiency, we adopted UAV aerial survey technology to model traditional villages and draw topographic maps. In the process of geographic information collection, we mainly use UAV aerial survey technology. UAV aerial survey technology has the advantages of high precision, high efficiency and high resolution, and can quickly obtain the geographical information of traditional villages. Through the photos and videos taken by drones, we can obtain the geographical information of the village's terrain, buildings, roads, water systems, etc. At the same time, professional software is used for modeling and analysis, providing scientific basis for the protection and planning of traditional villages.
