The Casson fluid model is one of the most used non-Newtonian viscoplastic fluid models that has great industrial applications. Some of these industries work on polymer processing, biomechanics, spanning and melting, etc. In view of the above-mentioned applications, the free convective Casson fluid flow in a partially heated, inclined square cavity filled with porous media has been considered in the present work. An external magnetic field has been applied to the cavity. The equations governing the model are obtained and solved by the higher order Galerkin finite element method. Moreover, a comparative study of streamlines for moving wall, cavity inclination, porous medium, and inclined magnetic field has been done. The isotherms profiles are also analyzed for various physical parameters. It is observed that the increment in the angle of inclination of the magnetic field disperses more heat in the cavity and also strengthens the flow.
