A Visual Clustering of Tourist Destinations on an Interactive Map for Successful Tourism Management in Indonesia's Joglosemar Region

This study visually clustered tourist destinations in Indonesia's Joglosemar region on an interactive map to support tourism management and multidestination travel.Geographical coordinates and accessibility ratings for 107 sites were analyzed using Fuzzy C-Means clustering and displayed via an interactive map interface.Results showcase two primary clusters differentiated by ease of access.Findings reveal destinations that are popular yet difficult to access.The mapping interface enables strategic analyses by tourism authorities regarding infrastructure and transport planning to accommodate tourist growth.For travelers, clustered recommendations facilitate efficient scheduling of trips to nearby highly-rated attractions.Additional factors like estimated travel times and granular transport options would further enrich decisions.
