This article discusses the legal regulation of working hours in Kyrgyzstan during the years of establishing Soviet power as one of the most important directions of Soviet policy in establishing better working conditions and improving the living standards of workers. It examines the first normative acts of government and administration bodies, i. e., the formation of Soviet labor legislation during the radical socio-economic transformations following the October Socialist Revolution of 1917.
