As a commonly used connecting device for airborne electronic equipment, the reliability of the wedge lock directly affects the entire equipment function. This article focuses on the problem of random vibration failure of wedge lock, establishes a mechanical theoretical model and calculates the relative sliding conditions of the wedge lock slider, and simulates the strength of the wedge lock. The failure mechanism of the wedge lock under random vibration is analysed, and it is found that the wear of slider is the cause of the wedge lock failure when the clamping force was insufficient. The wear rate of the wedge lock is calculated. Finally, improvement measures are proposed, which can meet the requirements of the environment.
