Serum carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) is used for recurrence surveillance in patients with resected pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC).This report describes the association of increasing CA19-9 in a male PDAC survivor with presence of prostatic hyperplasia.Unexplained elevation of CA19-9 in male PDAC survivors might be attributable to benign prostatic conditions.
