When theoretically considering the process of dye mass transfer in textile materials, modern studies don't explicitly take into account the influence of electrical double layers (DL) on the surface of the dye fiber. It is known that in water almost all fibers have a negative surface charge, as do most dyes.A similar picture is observed in other solvents.Under these conditions, electrical DL appearing on the surface should have a significant effect on the adsorption kinetics. The earlier theoretical studies, that do not take into account the electrical phenomena of interaction between the charged surface of the fiber and dye ions, turned out to be inapplicable in the region of low concentrations of indifferent electrolyte.Crank [1] tried to take these phenomena into account based on the theory of membrane equilibrium. In fact, he introduced the Boltzmann factor into the expression for the average diffusion coefficient , e d z f e RT ϕ = where d ϕ is the fiber surface potential; e z -charge of the dye ion.
