Second, he focuses on the unpublished work Impugnación contra algunos médicos de Guipúzcoa y Vizcaya sobre materia de viruelas y inoculación, written by the antiinoculationist priest Francisco Ygnacio López de Luzuriaga. Third, he outilnes other acts of resistance that help to put the work into context. Overall, the work offers a historical approach to those who opposed the inoculation of smallpox.
