The Development of Android-Based Interactive Learning Media on the Topic of Discussing the Atmosphere

Abstract Low comprehension and lack of interest among students are caused by the lack of variety in learning media. Consequently, the creation of more diverse learning materials is required. The aim of this study is to create interactive learning resources for Android users that cover the topic of atmosphere discussion. Using the ADDIE development process (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation), this kind of study is Research and Development. Expert validation in media and materials yielded very valid and valid criteria, respectively. The expert validation results demonstrate that the created learning media are suitable for use in the educational process. Since PowerPoint is the most often used presentation tool by educators, the media was created with it in mind, making it easier for teachers to create Android-based learning materials. In the meantime, development and implementation trials must be conducted to assess the degree of applicability and efficacy of the media.
