In the Brazilian architectural context of professional and academic design, due to some cultural resistance to learning, there is a condition of technological/design accommodation in software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp, while BIM still faces difficulties in acceptance and employability. From Design Science Research, Greg Lynn's bioinspired design and its adaptation to local settings, as methodological approaches, an operational and conceptual methodology to aid architectural inventive thinking is proposed in conjunction with a testing laboratory to evaluate it through an internal perspective within the studied context. Although primal volumetric solutions have been generated, the resistance to learning has been strongly manifested and inventive design thinking has proven to be incipient based on form speculations and unclear personal preferences. There is an interest in approaches derived from the field of performative architecture, which works with clear and objective criteria.
