In this study, we have investigated the community structure of earthworm in industrial soils of Pandavapura Taluk of Mandya District, Karnataka, India. Soils from industrial sites were surveyed and sampled to assess earthworm diversity and community composition. Some selected ecological parameters such as soil temperature, soil pH, electrical conductivity, organic carbon, nitrogen, potassium, phosphorous, and heavy metal concentrations were measured to understand their potential influence on earthworm communities. The findings shed light on the impacts of industrial activities on earthworm populations and provide valuable insights into the resilience of soil ecosystems in industrialized regions. This study contributes to our understanding of the ecological consequences of industrialization on soil biodiversity and underscores the importance of sustainable soil management practices in mitigating these effects. .
