This paper provides new data of current research of how Escherichia coli protect themselves against the heat shock (HSP) as well as the oxidative stress with NO and H2S as the primary sources of this stress in aerobic conditions. In molecular genetic bacterial models – the SOS DNA repair response and the SoxRS regulon - summary response to HSP and to gasotransmit-ters NO and H2S were tested. The levels by sfiA gene ( the SOS response) and soxS gene ( the SoxRS pathway) expression increased by several fold ( up to 3.7-5 ) in the complex cell treatment, as compared with the mono cell treatment with these agents. PABA- as an antioxi-dant -inhibited the levels of the genes expression in all the variants. Our data received are ab-solutely new.
