In experiments on white rats of both sexes, it was established that long-term consumption of biomass of streptomycetes of the Streptomyces massasporeus CNMN-06 strains and, to a lesser extent, Streptomyces fradiae CNMNAc11, isolated from the soils of the Republic of Moldova, significantly stimulates the learning process in the eightarm radial maze and promotes facilitating the development of working and activation of long-term spatial memory, which shows the promise of further research with the aim of isolating and identifying substances with neuroprotective and nootropic properties from the biomass of these strains of streptomycetes. Sex differences were found in the learning of white rats in the radial eight-arm maze and the activation of working spatial memory, which may indicate the presence of sexual dimorphism in the brain areas responsible for spatial learning.
