Investigating Robot Abuse

This paper presents a doctoral research plan for investigating robot abuse. Robot abuse is an emerging area that refers to the behaviour of aggression against robots. The project aims to examine the psychological and design factors involved in this behaviour through a pragmatic approach and mixed-method studies. The paper proposes state-of-the-art research on robot abuse, the research objectives of the plan and methodology, preliminary results, and future directions.
