This paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of the MICE courses in higher vocational education through a questionnaire survey. The IPA analysis method is employed to identify issues such as limited teaching methods, a disconnect between instructional design and evaluation systems, unsatisfactory teaching outcomes, and insufficient alignment with the "1+X" certificate system. In response, specific measures and recommendations are proposed to optimize the integration of the MICE courses with the "1+X" certificate system. These measures include optimizing the teaching content to align with the certificate system, diversifying teaching methods under the guidance of the certificate system, creating progressive teaching activities that bridge the courses, and establishing a comprehensive and diverse evaluation system. The aim is to enhance the teaching of the MICE courses by integrating it withthe "1+X" certificate system.
