Assembling Subjects in Personalized Medicine: The Doctor’s Professional Identity

In the context of active implementation of the concept and scientific and technological project of personalized medicine in domestic healthcare, the relationship between the doctor and the patient is transformed into an assembly of subjects, understood as creating a generated holistic subject and as a way to solve the cognitive problem of managing the life quality in terms of the patient’s “health” parameter. On this path, the key issue is forming the doctor’s relevant professional identity. The article presents the results of a psychodiagnostic study (2022-2023) of forming professional identity among students and residents of a medical university. As a result of the study, data are obtained that the professional identity of senior year medical university students does not have a formed status, and that of residents, the professional identity, although not having an uncertain status, is not yet formed, which indicates the need for psychological monitoring and training within the educational process of the university.
