Rope Courier Storage Box using IoT

This paper was conducted to recognize the importance of parcel storage boxes in coping with the problem of parcel theft that occurs at the same time as convenience due to the recent increase in online shopping.A new parcel storage system was proposed and developed to overcome the limitations of the existing parcel storage box that occupies a lot of space.This system uses ropes and reels to protect parcels safely and detects and monitors real-time situations through gyro sensors and cameras.In addition, a safer and more efficient parcel security system is established by introducing a security function through face recognition.Users can check and delete information in real-time by implementing the log storage function of the parcel storage box through the web.Through this, courier management and data can be tracked.This paper uses real-time detection systems such as gyro sensors and cameras to detect theft and provide a safe delivery environment through appropriate response.In addition, the flexible structure allows the system to be installed in various locations, thereby increasing the scalability of the delivery infrastructure.Therefore, it is expected to help significantly in solving the limitations of existing parcel lockers and the problem of parcel theft and providing a safe delivery environment.
