In male-dominated industries such as IT, women often face invisible barriers and glass ceilings that result in lower wages and difficulties in advancing their careers. The study utilizes a large dataset to examine the relationship between gender inequality, pay satisfaction, and turnover intention. The results indicate that compensation has a significant moderating effect by enhancing pay satisfaction in the presence of gender inequality and decreasing turnover intentions.
