The work is devoted to the disclosure of some comparative legal aspects of ensuring the safety of the use of pesticides in agriculture in Russia, the USA, Germany and Poland. The relevance of the research topic is substantiated. It is articulated: modern agriculture, associated with the use of chemicals, mechanization, genetically modified organisms, and now digitalization, that threaten all living things, must be entrusted to a qualitatively different trained agricultural specialist. Justified: individuals and legal entities declaring to engage in agricultural production are required to first obtain the appropriate qualifications, confirmed by a diploma, at the educational sites of regional information and consulting services, or agricultural research institutes, or agricultural universities.
