the expansion and dominance of the internet requires reliable and secure management platforms for a variety of academic and administrative tasks. This paper is aimed at presenting the design of a web-based platform that is designed for the management of a virtual institution. Using the literature review method, the research identifies major challenges and requirements for virtual university administration, in particular the necessity to address security concerns, ensure user friendliness of interfaces, and increase design flexibility. The system design involves the use of secure file storage systems, access control mechanisms, and the utilization of web application firewall among other security measures against cyber-attacks. The adoption of responsive design frameworks ensures that services are compatible with a wide range of devices and increases the level of accessibility and experience of users. Critiques show that the platform meets the functional needs, privacy, and security needs, as well as the general usability of the system. The article ends by proposing future research suggestions that include the development of more secure systems, personalization of learning processes, and the inclusion of mobile applications to enhance the administration of the virtual university.
