Because of the special structural variety and adjustability of metal–organic frameworks, they are considered by most researchers to be applicable in various fields. Guided by this, in this paper, a nonprecious metal electrocatalyst with good activity and low cost was developed by combining hydrothermal, pyrolysis, and low-temperature phosphatization methods; metal–organic backbone and metal–organic backbone composite-derived nanoparticles P-CoFe2O4@CN were efficiently synthesized. These nanoparticles provided a large number of active catalytic sites, and synergistic reactions of phosphorus and bimetallic oxides improved the electron transport capacity, which enabled the catalysts to exhibit good oxygen evolution reaction (OER) performance. This work provides a new idea from the development of effective electrocatalysts for a combination of two metal–organic backbones.
