13 new and noteworthy plants for the State of Karnataka are discussed in the present paper. Of these two Albizia julibrissin Durazz. and A. mollis Boiv., are Himalayan species and show disjunct distribution; three viz. Pavonia arabica Hochst. ex Steud., Tephrosia uniflora Pers. subsp. petrosa (Blatt. two viz. Schouwia arabica (Vahl) A. P. DC. and Crotularia vestita Baker are recorded for the first time from Peninsular India; and the remaining six plants are new recrods for Karnataka State.
