Ultra-thin Silicon Steel is widely used as core material for high-performance electrical equipment. Accurately measuring and evaluating its magnetic properties are significant for the optimal design. This study investigates the measurement inaccuracies inherent in the traditional H-coils and B-probes for estimating magnetic properties. It introduces an improved B-H combined sensor, outlining the calibration experiments conducted. Based on a laboratory-developed two-dimensional magnetic property testing apparatus, the magnetic properties of grain-oriented silicon steel sheet GT-100 are quantitatively evaluated. The difference in magnetic properties along the rolling and transverse directions are also explored and discussed, offering insights into directional dependencies.
