Fundamental Higher Order Weaker HIE-PML Algorithm for Magnetized Plasma

Fundamental weaker hybrid implicit-explicit (HIE) algorithm is proposed to analyze single-direction-fine magnetized plasma. To accurately calculate unique anisotropic constitutive relationship inside the magnetized plasma, approximate bilinear transform method is introduced based on the fundamental and implicit schemes. Higher order perfectly matched layer (PML) scheme is modified to terminate plasma domains. Numerical experiments are employed to illustrate the algorithm. From results, it behaviors considerable performance from the aspects of accuracy, memory and absorption. Meanwhile, time step can be enlarged according to the relaxed stability condition, which significantly improves efficiency.
