This document aims to describe the impact of tourism activity, between 2010 and 2019, on the Mexican economy. Specifically, it will analyze statistically relevant variables such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP), employment, investment, and others, to finally suggest some public policy recommendations that could improve the living conditions of the population in the country's tourist development centers.
