The discussion is a response to Leigh Lyndon's paper: The Ice is Melting, that locates itself in the genre of autotheory and takes itself as "the case." The discussion opens up exploration into what happens in the intersubjective third, and Ma (間), when there is joint and felt participation through storytelling. In our joint disclosure, Leigh and I are extending a conversation and engaging in "the case" which is different from disclosure in the employment of enactment. The discussion refers to, but departs from, the traditional case demonstration and invites experimentation with alternative modes of psychoanalytic writing.
