To boost the energy and power density of all-solid-state (ASS) flexible supercapacitors, unconventional asymmetric supercapacitors should be designed by integrating electrolytes with a wide potential range and electrode materials having high capacitance. This study introduces a pioneering approach wherein a WS2/rGO/CNT hybrid material is utilized as the cathode, a polymer-based ionic electrolyte is employed, and MXene serves as the anode to develop a flexible ASS asymmetric supercapacitor, achieving a potential window of 3.5 V. The fabricated flexible ASS device exhibited an impressive volumetric capacitance of 5.04 F cm–3 (67.60 F g–1) at a current density of 135.93 mA cm–3, along with an outstanding energy density measuring 115.01 Wh kg–1 (or 8.50 mWh cm–3), accompanied by a corresponding power density of 3.18 W kg–1 (235.30 mW cm–3). Therefore, the outstanding performance of the fabricated interdigitated planner architecture makes it a possible contender for use in portable and adaptable energy-storage devices.
