Abstract

Cancer Nanomedicine In article number 2310873, Woong Sub Koom, Sung-Joon Ye, Kangwon Lee, and co-workers report the strategy and efficacy of tumor combination treatment with X-ray irradiation and the developed FHA-nanoparticles that induce ferroptosis. Effective tumor synergistic treatment effects were confirmed, and Monte Carlo simulations were performed to evaluate the physical interactions. This platform identifies the role of ferroptosis in X-ray therapy and provides insights into clarifying the correlation and role of radiation and ferroptosis for effective cancer treatment.
