Emitter-to-Fiber Interface Transfers Spin-photon interfaces are the core of quantum communication networks. The cover depicts such an interface: a single solid-state quantum emitter is embedded in a 'Sawfish' photonic crystal cavity. Its cavity-enhanced red fluorescence light is coupled to a waveguide by adiabatically decreasing the cavity corrugation amplitude. This provides near-unity efficiency in interfacing the emitter's spin with photons. The cavity's web-like texture resembles the grid employed in finite element method simulations to investigate the coupled cavity-waveguide system.
