We apply our quasi-1D model to the temperature rise in oil-filled transformer foil windings with two symmetric partial ducts. We compare the results with a two-dimensional FEM simulation. To compare the results to industrial tests we try to find a relationship between the effective values for heat transfer coefficients of different foil windings. Finally, we compare the effectiveness of adding one vs two partial cooling ducts to the winding.
