The main problems of irrigation in the South of Ukraine are considered from the point of view of the initial quality of water at the sampling points of the Southern Bug rivers, etc., economic reasons and the influence of hostilities on the part of Russian aggression. The main factors of the transformation of irrigation water in irrigation systems and the main consequences that they can lead to when growing certain agricultural crops are substantiated. An algorithm for solving the problem of irrigation water transformation in irrigation systems to improve the yield and quality of agricultural crops is proposed.
