The study delves into the experiences of mothers with adolescents engaging in non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) behaviors. Giorgi’s phenomenological research method was applied through in-depth interviews with eight mothers. The study underscores the significance of understanding mothers’ experiences in addressing adolescent NSSI, offering insights into their crucial role and implications for intervention strategies.
