The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of one-time participation in liberal arts futsal class on physical strength (1RM squat strength, muscle manual test[quadriceps extension strength: QES, biceps femoris flexion strength: BFS], Side-Step: SS, sargent jump: SJ), heart rate (average heart rate: AHR, maximum heart rate: MHR) and dynamic balance ability (Y-balance test: YBT) in college students. A total of 10 male collage student were divided into control intervention (CON, n=10) and fustal intervention (FSI, n=10) using a randomized crossover design. All subjects were measured physical strength, heart rate and dynamic balance ability before and after a one-time participation in futsal match. QES of the non-dominant side, SS, AHR and MHR showed significant differences between before and after the futsal match in FSI. However 1RM squat strength, BFS, SJ and YBT showed no significant differences between before and after the futsal match in both CON and FSI. It seem that one-time participation in liberal arts futsal class is beneficial for health management.
