This study aims to explore the application of color visual perception in the design of urban complex guide signage systems.By analyzing the color, design elements, and functions of signage, reveals the impact of color on user guidance efficiency and spatial cognition.By analyzing the effects and limitations of existing guidance signs in guiding people at the Busan Cinema Center, existing problems and a design scheme were identified for a guide signage system that can enhance the visual perception experience and help the center become more comprehensive. An emotional and interactive cultural place. The research method involves referencing documents such as urban guide signage design, Busan Film Palace, design theory, dissertations, academic journals, and so on.The analysis standards are based on prior research and combine color visual perception (the expressive meaning of color, the emotional impact of color), guide signage design (design elements, design principles), and signage functions (guidance function, information function) as the core elements in analyzing the case of Busan Movie Palace city signage. The results show that, first, the color visual perception of the Busan Cinema Center signage lies in its ability to effectively guide users and convey the cultural and artistic atmosphere of the movie palace.Secondly, the guide signage of the Busan Movie Hall balances the architectural features of the Movie Hall in its shape design, and its visual appeal can be enhanced through the use of color.Third, the functional analysis of signage shows that color not only plays a key role in visual recognition but also affects people's emotions and behaviors.Fourth, the problem with the Busan Cinema Center city signage is that the use of some colors may not fully take into account the differences in perception of all audiences, resulting in poor message communication. For the optimized design direction of the Busan Cinema Center urban signage design, focus more on applying color psychology, strengthening the combination of color and urban film culture, and optimizing the functionality of the signage to improve effective communication of information. This study proposes as inspiration that the color perception should be comprehensively considered in the design of urban complex guide signage systems to establish a more aesthetic and functional signage system.
