Writing my final Editorial for The Law and Practice of International Courts and Tribunals (LPICT) has stirred a bittersweet symphony of emotions within me.In late 2019, I embarked on this journey as Co-Editor-in-Chief, succeeding Pierre Bodeau-Livinec.Working alongside my colleague, Freya Baetens, for more than four years has been an immensely enriching and rewarding experience. However, due to new responsibilities and other academic and professional commitments, I have come to the difficult decision that it is time to step down from this executive role with the Journal.Indeed, it is essential for any academic journal to have individuals who are fully committed and, thus, at a certain point, to incorporate fresh perspectives in order to continue evolving and thriving.
