In the remote-controlled robotics system, the reliable communication between the operator and the robot is important. However, unstable network connections are an inevitable problem. Because of the jitter time delay, the robot often doesn't receive the control instruction on time. The smooth motion strategy is proposed to overcome the impact of network delay on system performance. If the robot doesn't receive any new instructions in a presetting time period, the strategy calculates the predictive instructions to keep smooth control. Experiments results show the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.
