The transition from traditional farming techniques to smart agriculture, powered by IoT, marks a significant milestone in the quest for sustainable and efficient farming. Throughout history, agriculture has been at the forefront of human advancement, continuously evolving to enhance productivity and quality to meet the growing needs of the global population. The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) into agriculture represents a pivotal development, aiming to revolutionize traditional farming practices. By incorporating IoT, the sector addresses both age-old and contemporary challenges, including climate-related disasters and the persistent threats of pests and diseases. IoT technologies facilitate the monitoring of critical agricultural parameters, leading to smarter, more efficient farming practices that reduce labor intensity, cut costs, and diminish the reliance on manual agriculturalist intervention through automation. This study proposes the creation of an autonomous agricultural ecosystem that links physical farming tools and infrastructure with the digital world, thereby optimizing irrigation management and enhancing crop health monitoring. The ultimate objective is to aid farmers in cultivating healthier crops through a system that not only withstands but thrives amidst the challenges of modern agriculture.
