Database security is one of the most critical and major concerns facing the information and communication technology industry. It encompasses data/information availability, integrity, and confidentiality. Most of the institutions use centralized databases for their students. Centralized databases become vulnerable and inaccessible when the central server gets down. If any hacker gets access to that database, he/she can perform any fraudulent activities to the database. In this paper, we proposed a decentralized database for valid students using blockchain technology which is almost impossible to alter or modify the information for its chained cryptographic encryption feature. We used Hyperledger Fabric platform which is an opensource blockchain framework along with CouchDB database to store student's information which will be distributed among the permissioned nodes. At last, we analyzed our model's performance using Hyperledger Caliper tool.
