"Energy Conservation" describes the measures used to reduce energy use in all situations. Energy conservation can be achieved by reduced energy consumption from conventional energy sources and increased efficient energy use. Energy saving may lead to greater financial resources, a better environment, individual safety, national security and increased comfort for individuals. In an effort to reduce energy costs and improve economic security, individuals and institutions who use electrical energy choose to practice energy conservation. No industry can avoid consuming energy. In recent years, the Internet of Things (IoT) has played a significant role in energy saving in a variety of sectors, including transportation, manufacturing, and education. In order to support energy conservation in the field of educational institutions, the design and implementation of a cost efficient campus energy management system for energy conservation is presented in this article. Energy conservation leads to a decrease in the cost of power and an increase in energy efficiency for consumers. During the day, there are various time intervals where energy demand is controlled. Number of person attending the class can be monitored and stored in the cloud with graphical representation by using Application program interface.
