Electronic waste is currently recognized as the waste stream that is growing the fastest.Since electronic equipment contains hazardous materials, improper management could harm both human health and the environment.E-waste is a major global concern in modern society. Therefore, there is a greater need than ever for more inventive, secure, and environmentally friendly methods of handling e-waste.This paper introduces a smart waste management system based on deep learning (DL)-based object detection, and the Internet of Things (IoT) is de-signed and developed to tackle this problem. The object detection models, namely Mobile Net and YOLO, have been adopted in this study for object detection. With the help of this creative system, e-waste management could become more effective, bolstering green city projects and encouraging sustainability.By implementing an intelligent green city vision, we can address a range of contamination issues that will help both the environment and people.
