Genomics plays a pivotal role in identifying genetic factors that contribute to the development of diseases. By studying the genomic profiles of individuals, scientists can pinpoint genetic mutations associated with various diseases, including cancer, diabetes, and genetic disorders. The privacy and security of this data during analysis and maintenance is a major concern. To make personalized medicine more effective, panomics studies aim to integrate genomics with other types of data, such as electronic health record (EHR) data and image data. This requires the creation of secure and reliable pipelines that consider ethical concerns, confidentiality and data ownership. To address these issues, we propose an NFT-based blockchain system that can make genomics data handling and research more secure, efficient, and simple while preserving privacy and ownership. Our paper also aims to identify obstacles in sharing EHR and genomic data and proves the potential of blockchain withNFTtechnology in providingcontrolled genomics data handling protecting privacy and ownership.
