Prospects for the Development of Regional Industry Within the Framework of the New Industrial Model

The article examines the problems of the development of regional industry since the Soviet era of the twentieth century and suggests using the potential of the military-industrial complex to create a new industrial model. The problems of the development of regional industry that have developed at the beginning of the XXI century are considered. The prerequisites for the transition to a new industrial model in modern conditions ensuring the economic growth of enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex are characterized. The process of homologation and the area of responsibility of product suppliers to ensure product quality and create a network of interregional horizontal cooperation is described. The scheme of horizontal integration of regional producers is presented.
